Sam has been empowering women to say “F*CK the SCALE” for over 15 years. She has overcome bulimia, anxiety and depression along with many of the emotional and physical challenges that come with mental illness. She knows firsthand just how damn hard it can be to have a positive body image but also knows it is possible.
She currently lives in Fredericton, NB and is the spouse of a military vet (and self-proclaimed athlete), the mother of two beautiful girls, baker at heart (published in Oxygen magazine for a potato recipe, boring in comparison to cupcakes, she knows), crazy CARMA cat lady (4 and counting), collector of big ass coffee mugs and loves wine for under $15. She’s also been an entrepreneur, gymnast (1st place at Districts #tootingherownhorn), an esthetician, bootcamp instructor, piano player and an advocate for finding the damn fool who invented socks. For the better part of her childhood, her professional aspirations were simple–she wanted to become the best damn cashier you had ever met.
She has dedicated herself to building women’s self-esteem, discovering how powerful their minds can be and celebrating each and every ‘flaw’ shamelessly. She truly believes the scale doesn’t measure your worth and has not owned one since 2006. Besides, it’s usually lying anyway.
An educator, speaker and motivator (she prefers the term ass-kicker) that helps other women look beyond their self-imposed limitations and is sincerely focused around helping others share their #nakedtruth story.
Much Love and Gratitude for your support,
Sam xo
